“Have a nice day and I'll see you soon,” I said and kissed her on the cheek before getting out of the cab. She smiled and waved at me and I waved back, waiting until the cab was out of sight before I started walking. I was already becoming fond of her and for two reasons, I wasn't sure if I could allow that to happen. Firstly, love wasn't for me as it never worked out well with anyone I got involved with. Secondly, my job as a hitman put anyone that I cared about in danger and I cared about Natalie a lot.
